sported. Members benefit through Inspired Facilities programme

Three sported. Members in the West Midlands have this year
received grant funding from Sport England through the Inspired
Faculties Programmes following attending a sported. led workshop
and further application support.
The three organisations are:
- The Centaurus Trust; received
£49,950 to enable the charity to build an outdoor
equestrian arena that will assist in them offering further
opportunities in horse-riding and horsemanship for young people
with autism.
- Coventry Boys Club; received
£47,500 for the costs of improving their changing
room facilities and fix a troublesome leaky roof, with this having
a positive impact on the use of their wider community facilities of
a sports hall, boxing gym and dojo.
- Eccleshall Cricket Club;
Received £50,000 of funding to overhaul the club's
current pavilion that will assist in growing the club and in future
be used for a community youth club.

"It is great to see that organisations that are delivering strong
Sport for Development can benefit through this Sport England grant
programme and we would love to see more sported. Members accessing
these grants in future.
The Inspired Facilities fund is part of the £135 million Places
People Play legacy programme that is bringing the magic of a home
Olympic and Paralympic Games into communities across the country.
Every sports facility that receives funding will carry the London
2012 Inspire mark - celebrating the link to the games.
The programme will open for further applications in 2013 and
support will be available through sported. to assist Members in
