South West Member One-to-One advice appointments snapped up

The recently held one-to-one telephone advice appointments being offered to South West sported. Members were eagerly snapped up by community and sports groups, all seeking advice to help develop their organisation further. The 25 minute appointments hosted by South West Regional Manager Julian Wills were the first in a series of advice clinics that sported. are offering Members in the South West region.

Members were seeking support in a range of areas including facility development, funding advice, CASC status, training and education opportunities, and disability recruitment strategies. Julian was able to offer advice and appropriate signposting  for the Members, in what were very focused discussions.

Chris Chillcott, of Torbay ABC, commented: "This has been fantastic, really helpful. I can now go back to my committee with ideas and information of how we can progress the club."

One to One "sported Small Grant" Telephone Advice appointments:

Tuesday 6 November - 12noon to 9pm - 25 minute appointments

Face to Face Advice appointments:

Monday 22 October - 5.30pm to 9.30pm - 40 minute appointment -Location: Carn Brea, Redruth  (very limited number of appointments left)
Wednesday 27 February 2013 - 5.30pm to 9.30pm - 40 minute appointment - Location: Truro

Funding Advice events:

Wednesday 3 October - 5.30pm to 8pm - Location: Bath Rugby Club
Thursday 8 November - 5.30pm to 8pm - Location: Clevedon
