New Mentor supported projects in the South East
07 Oct 2011
It's a very exciting time for sported. in the South East as we
have recently committed a volunteer Mentor to six new projects in
the region. These Member projects were all presented at the
September assessment panel and were eligible for support.
Over the next few weeks we will be holding the initial planning
meetings for all six projects so do come back the South East
Regional page and visit the 'supported project' area to get an
overview of the work that we are doing with these members and
others.
The Members that have been allocated a Mentor from the last
panel are;
• The Studio ADHD Centre based in Capel but working across
Surrey
• The Prince of Wales Youth Club in Canterbury
• HACO Youth in Medway
• Lower Green Community Association just outside Esher
• Walderslade Judo Club in Medway
• West Sussex Angling operating from Dorking in Surrey
Paul Napthine Regional Manager for the South East has commented 'I
am really excited and enthused by the new Mentor supported projects
we have recently taken on. These Members are already doing
fantastic things and we are looking forward to building on the
sport for development work they do with a huge variety of young
people across the South East'
