The South East Region opens for membership in phase two.
23 Sep 2011
As part of the strategic roll out of sported. in the South East
region membership has been planned and delivered through a Phased
approach. This was to ensure that we could roll out in a manageable
process and ensure we deliver the maximum quality of support to our
Members.
The 19th October will see the opening of sported. membership in
West Sussex, East Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Hampshire and Isle of
Wight. sported. are currently meeting with key partners in these
areas to discuss plans and review how we can work with existing and
emerging support in the area. The roll out of sported. from mid
October will allow members from these areas to apply for the with
the second round of the sported. Small Grant programme for the
South
East region which closes at the end of November 2011.
Paul Napthine, Regional Manager for South East commented, "It's
a really exciting time to be entering these new areas, a number of
potential members have already contacted us and key partners in
these areas are really positive about the support we will be able
to offer groups. The timing feels very right and I am really
looking forward to building on the work we have already started and
achieved with some inspirational members in Kent and Surrey.'
Around May/June 2012 we will be looking to open for membership
in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire which will then mean
the whole of the South East region is open. If you have any queries
please contact Paul Napthine p.napthine@sported.org.uk or 07900 928514.
