North East Member to carry the flame through Tynemouth

sported. Member, Felling Martial Arts Club are proud to have a Torchbearer in their midst. Ray Walker, who volunteers as a coach at the club, will carry the Flame through Tynemouth on Friday 15 June.

Ray was selected out of tens of thousands of nominees in recognition of his efforts to raise money for various charities to help improve the lives and care for people who have been affected by life changing illness.

Based in Gateshead, Felling Martial Arts Club aim to make ju-jitsu accessible for everyone regardless of race, gender, beliefs, disabilities and social circumstances.  The club were recently awarded a small grant.
