Funding: Thornton Family Grassroots Fund

The Thornton Family Grassroots Fund supports projects that improve the health or wellbeing of people in Tynedale. The fund is particularly interested in supporting sports and fitness activities and would welcome applications from groups working with disadvantaged young people, the disabled or the elderly.
 
Applications are sought from grassroots community and voluntary organisations with an annual income under £50,000. Grants will be in the region of £1,000 although larger grants would be considered for projects that are particularly appealing.
