Suffolk angling club reel in much needed funding

Suffolk Anglers Disabled Forum has been awarded a £1600 grant from sported.

sported. has awarded the money to assist with coaching costs, lake hire and equipment for the club, based at Ipswich, Suffolk.  The funding will provide much needed support in the club's drive to inspire young people with disabilities to participate in angling.

Dr David Sollis, sported. Regional Manager for the East of England said: "The club inspired us in their passion to bring angling to a group of disabled young people who were unable to attend angling sessions due to barriers in session times and equipment. It will make a huge difference to the lives of those young people andsported.is proud to be involved with the club and its vision."

Club Leader Terry Reynolds said: "On behalf of SDAF members and volunteers we are extremely grateful to obtain thesported.grant. SDAF's aim is to provide more places for disabled and disadvantaged young adults and children to have a go at angling in a safe environment and this grant helps us to achieve that."
