New Roll-Out Areas in the East Midlands

As part of the strategic roll out of sported in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire region, membership was phased in to ensure that we could roll out in a manageable way and ensure we deliver the maximum support to our Members.

January to June will see the 2nd phase of the roll out of sported. in Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire region and we shall be inviting membership from the whole of the East Midlands from June 2012.

sported. are currently meeting with key partners to discuss plans and review how we can work with existing and emerging support in the area. The roll out of sported. from January takes place in line with the second round of the Small Grant programme for the region and we look forward to receiving applicants from the new areas.

Cheddi Gore, Regional Manager for the East Midlands commented, "It is an exciting time as we look to increase our coverage in the region. I have met with a number of key partners in the new areas whom are extremely supportive and welcome our support in the area and feel that there is a real need for our support, in addition there are many organisations that have already contacted me from these areas and I am looking forward to offering support to these groups".
