We feel that some of our Members will benefit from a more
intensive period of support and they will be eligible for our
additional One2One service. This provides Members with their own
Mentor, somebody to provide support and guidance on areas such
as:
• Business planning
• Financial management
• Policies and procedures
• Governance and compliance
• Managing staff and volunteers
• Marketing and PR
• Fundraising
This kind of support involves several face-to-face meetings with
Mentors, usually over a period of a few months, as often or as
little as you need.
Members using our One2One service are eligible to apply for one
of our large grants. Most of the grants that we award are for
between £2,000 and £10,000. We do occasionally award larger
amounts, but this will involve a longer process, which your Area
Manager will explain to you if relevant. Members will get support
from their Mentor to apply for this funding.
The One2One service is for Members that require additional help
over a limited time. Once a Member's stated outcomes have been met,
they will continue to receive all the benefits of membership except
for access to Mentors and small grants if they have already
received a larger one.
